Linux fills the void.

So after drooling over macs for some time, I decided that I'd install Linux on my laptop and use that for a while. I figured since Linux is used by so many people, there should be a way to make a linux UI look like a mac UI... and I was right.

Clearly my thinkpad can't do some of what's in this tutorial, but I'll do my best to follow these instructions and get something nice looking.

Everyone know's I've been a Redhat guy since first year, but I thought I'd try out ubuntu for casual use. I tried using it for my research a while back and found that it lacked many things that I needed. Good ol' Redhat was what I used in that case.

Anyways, I'll be ubuntu-ing for a while. I'll make a blog post about whether or not I got it looking like a mac.
